X-200 XRF analyzer: the perfect blend of high performance and attractive price
The Sciaps X-200 handheld XRF analyzer is equipped with a miniaturized, rugged Rh x-ray tube (50 kV, 200 µA, 5 W) and a high-resolution silicon drift detector (25 mm² SDD, 140 eV at 5.95 Mn K-alpha line, at over 90% live time, 250k cps) for rapid alloy chemistry and grade identification.
Compact and lightweight, the X-200 delivers analysis in just 1 second, with automatic precision updates every second thereafter. Typical test durations range from 1 to 3 seconds.
The standard grade library includes approximately 500 entries, with the option for users to add unlimited additional grades.
The analyzer automatically calibrates and verifies calibration using included external 316 stainless test material. It features an advanced high-speed shutter mechanism that opens only during x-ray analysis and closes at the end of each test, providing excellent protection for the SDD from accidental punctures.
Integrated with a camera and video capabilities, the analyzer allows for photo-documentation of tests and precise targeting of specific test regions on welds or non-homogeneous samples. The device operates on a Google-powered Android system, offering easy and intuitive operation, with built-in wireless and Bluetooth connectivity for seamless integration with other devices.
Included with the system are PC software for operation, result import/export, and data management, along with two Li-Ion batteries, a battery charger, a rugged carrying case, spare Prolene windows, and an operations manual.
