Easy-to-install models
Most customers now choose easy-to-install KFGS series strain gages with pre-attached measurement leads. The easiest to install are the KFWB models, which come pre-wired and protected against moisture. They can even be used for underwater measurements as supplied.
One of Kyowa’s advantages over many other suppliers is its range of pre-wired strain gages. These are available with several lead lengths and in two-wire or three-wire configurations. A three-wire connection can eliminate measurement errors caused by changes in the ambient temperature affecting the leads.
The adhesives needed to install the strain gauges, materials used for moisture protection, measurement leads and other accessories are supplied with the gauges according to the application’s requirements.
